This track is conceptually based and titled off of a short story by Jorge Luis Borges about a character who is homonymous with the enemy he is fleeing, Alejandro Villari. Short story shorter: he becomes deluded in a psychotic state out of isolation and general paranoia that stems from his past relationship with his double. Thus the character is doomed to wake to his final confrontation with Villari over and over.
This is an extended metaphor that ties into the theme of the main character getting stuck in the loop that brought him back into the wormhole from which he came.
